Checking in an old vesion with TFS
« on: August 07, 2007, 04:59:17 am »
I work with EA7.0 815 on TFS2005.
To day I changed some design and later I changed my mind.
I wanted to go back to the last version and I found no way to do it with TFS.
Also in help it is only possible in CVS or SCC
THIS IS ONE OF MAIN REASONS TO KEEP CONFIGURAION CONTROL!!!!
HOW CAN IT BE THAT I CANT DO IT?
Why would I want to use TFS if I can't go back versions with it?
If I nkew it I would use SCC, now I have to change the configuration of all dvelopment and design teams, very nice.. >:(
I SOOOOO hope I'm wrong....

Ok, I actualy scratched my right ear with my left leg.
I retrieved the wanted version, took the package out of version control and then back in...
This night I'll change configuration contol settimgs to SCC.
BTW, in help it says nothing about it (at least not in TFS pages), it just says direct use of TFS is not recomnded, but it doesn't give any reasons.
