Is there no way of running with vanilla wine?

... which is US$40, and which you may consider to be the 'extra' you have to pay for a version of EA on Linux.

And the US dollar's at a 10-year low at the moment !

just tried the demo of 7.0 (815) on wine 0.9.44 which seemed to work just fine. some icons were missing in the "new project" dialog compared to when I used the demo version od Crossover - other than that I haven't found any issues.

just started evaluating EA, so there may be other problems I haven't come across yet of course.

Interesting information Tarjei!
I tried it with COO and it worked fine, but if it works with plain wine then its even better!
