Classes derived from Oracle to VB .NET?
« on: September 11, 2007, 04:33:15 am »
I'm trying to generate VB .NET classes using Classes derived from Oracle tables. I did something similar for VB 6, but I'm not getting any classes when I go through the generate code process.

Suggestions...

Chris,

What do you mean when you say "I did something similar for VB 6" and "I'm not getting any classes?"

Do you mean that you were able to generate VB 6 classes from your EA model, but fail with VB.Net?

If so, check that your settings. Try setting the containing package to VB.Net. Also make sure your classes are set to VB.Net.

Make sure the target directory is empty - at least for now, you can always try to generate to a populated directory later. EA may not be set to overwrite existing files.

Make sure your generation dialog has the appropriate options set, and check that the code is not going into subfolders.

Let us know if you discover anything.
