Red triangle

A small red triangle appeared at top of my class element in the diagram. It points towards the the class. What does it mean?

Okay, thanks. I wonder how on earth it got bookmarked in the first place.

Shift-space toggles the setting. It is not too rare to hit this combination by accident. If something was selected on a diagram when this happens, presto! You've suddenly got a bookmark, with no idea what it is, or how it got there.

We've all done it...

Yes, it's too easy to press Shift+Space by accident. Try Tools > Customize > Keyboard, set Category=Edit, Command=Bookmark Selected, New Shortcut Key=Ctrl+Shift+Space. It'll save a lot of grief.

PS Hint: Searching for "red triangle" in the EA help file finds exactly one page... :)

Yes, there is one Help page that explains 'red triangle' (which you will soon be able to locate in the index too, though the search is PDQ).

However, there are many pages that refer to bookmarks, and these are roughly equally divided between those that mention the Project Management "watch out for these" bookmarks (which you can set deliberately in several ways) and those that mention the RTF documentation bookmarks for pulling EA packages into a Word master document. The two types of bookmark are not the same and are not naturally related. Just be aware of this if you search for 'Bookmark'.

As this is currently being discussed: from one release on it was possible to bookmark in the search result which is really nice. However, it is still impossible to bookmark in the project view. I still would like to see (and be able to change) the bookmark in the project view.
