Viewable Components
« on: September 19, 2007, 02:17:15 am »
Hi There,

I have recently upgraded from EA 6.5 to 7 and one thing i notice now, is that if i drag a package (with sub components) onto a diagram the package is displayed but components are not.

These used to be displayed in 6.5, however if i open a 6.5 diagram in 7 then they are displayed.  ???

Is there a setting to turn this on / off?

Many thanks

Hi Markos,

Open diagram properties (F5) and choose the Elements tab. You'll see a Package Contents check box in the Show Compartments section.

David
No, you can't have it!

This is documented in the following Help topic:

http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/EAUserGuide/index.html?showpackagecontents.htm

It follows the topic on dragging packages from the Browser onto a diagram.

I have beefed up the index entries to make these easier to locate.
