RTF date time stamp

Am I correct that there is no mechanism for automatically labeling an RTF document with the date and time of generation?

I certainly don't remember seeing anything like this. [Of course, I don't remember all kinds of things, so take this with a grain of salt.]

A date stamp, with an option for date and time, would make an excellent function. It could be used in both reports and code generation, at the very least.
