Importing a Scenario from a Use Case
« on: October 19, 2007, 11:40:57 am »
We have some detailed scenarios associated with our Use Cases.  When we get to the point of handing off the requirements and Test Cases to the QA Team I want to be able to print Test Case documents.  I tried importing our scenarios according to the directions here

 http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/EAUserGuide/index.html?importscenarioastest.htm

however what is not happing in step 1 is "all of the test scripts for that element display in the Testing window".  I've banged my head long enough on this and looking for direction.

Am I not doing something?  Is this a bug?  Is there a plug-in that would be more capable for doing test cases?

I regularly use the same functionality so I doubt there's a problem with EA since I have been using it from version 6.5.
In order to import a scenario you are required to have a test case (stereotypes use case - test case). When you select that test case you will see down on the bottom (providing that you have the default layout of course) the Testing window that basically shows tabs Unit, Integration, System, Acceptance and Scenario. You will see this window if you go through View menu and click on Testing. Rest is explained in the guide that you have referred to.
I hope this helps!
