Extending Relationship Matrix

We have a need to add metadata on relationships setup in a Relationship Matrix so we can filter out and/or use in a report. Does this type of capability exist in EA where a user can add for e.g. Status on relationship between requirements. For example for two requirements that have a relationship, right-click on the Relationship in a Relationship Matrix, click on View properties and add the value in a Status field. Then using the Report template generate a document containg the Relationship stataus field and/or use a filter on Status.
