Add new in element list is not working

I have a project where I am entering requirements in different packages to maintain the source of the requirement. I have been using the element list in the package, selecting the element type as Requirement and using the Add New button. This has quit working for me as I have continued to add new packages. It still works for earlier packages that contain requirements. Any ideas?

I currently have about 80 packages in my project. I'm very new to EA, so I don't know if this is a problem.

Sorry if I wasn't clear.

In an element list, when I click on Add New, nothing happens.

1) This only happens in packages created after a certain point.
2) Add New does still work in the packages I created earlier in the project.

Out of interest, did you update EA to a new build during the life of the project? Perhaps something got broken in a recent EA build.

Still unclear: where is that Add New? You mean the icon? Do you have version control?

He's talking about the View | Element List Thomas. There's Add New on the toolbar and the context menu.
