Error when copying diagrams

Hallo,
if I copy a diagram with the option "deep copy" I get the following error:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers[-2147467259]
ERROR: function val(character varying) does not exist; error while executing the query.

The diagram is copied, but the links between the notes and element features are are broken.

We are using EA 7.0.818 with psqlODBC 8.2.500 and postgreSQL version 8.2.4 with ssl encryption enabled.

Any hints appriciated.

OK, I reported this bug to sparx on the 13th of November, but got no reply yet.

In which timeframe should I expect a reply to a bug report?

Does it make any sense, to write another email to regsupport AT sparxsystems.com.au?

They work "silently" - means: you don't get any progress message unless it's ready for roll-out. You can write an informal mail to Sparx' support that should be answered within a few days. (Or maybe one of Sparx' readers can post the status here.)

Well, I just would like to hear something like:

- we can reproduce the bug
- we can't reproduce it, please provide a better
 test case

it looks like there is still quite some space for improving Sparx' bug tracking. However, it has improved since the last year and there's hope for even more. Just poll the information as they do not push it...

They are normnally quite good at responding to whether they have been able to reproduce - or ask you more questions.

I presume you logged the bug and are a registered user? (if so you'll get priority over other bug requests).

It depends on how busy they are.  I think if there is a release coming - or it isn't a common scenario, then you might have to wait a couple of weeks.

As a workaround - do an XMI export / import if you are after a deep copy (assuming the elements on your diagram are all in the same part of the package hierarchy!).

Ok, today I got an email from sparx, that this bug is fixed.

This is nice.

He wrote:
"This issue has now been resolved with 825."

But where can I get EA build 825?
