Difference between Feature and Class stereotypes?
« on: December 03, 2007, 01:19:47 pm »
Sorry if this is in the docs, I wasn't able to find it. What is the difference between a Feature and a Class stereotype?

I think you have to ask your question in a different way.  A stereotype extends an UML element.  What do you mean by "feature"?

Look under the code or MDA templates. You can add stereotype overrides, either feature or class. What's the difference?

This is explained (in a somewhat long-winded manner) in the UML specification.

To greatly oversimplify:

A class is a type of entity. A feature is something at a lower level, such as an attribute (structural feature) or an operation (behavioral feature).
