Tables are synched, DB not
« on: January 01, 2008, 11:49:19 pm »
When importing a DB to a package in EA you cna import all tables and then sycnhronize them and it works fine.
Where does the problem begin?
If you added some tables to your DB and you synch the pacage - you won't get them (it only sycnh existing) and if you want to import them you have to manualy recognize them and choose them from the list, else you'll get all the tables duplicated.

The above means that in did you can synch your tables, but not your DB.

very frustrating if you have large DBs to mantain.

Aded suggestion here:
http://www.sparxsystems.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=general;action=display;num=1199260159

Also opened bug, since it actualy allows you to mark tables for synch which are not imported.

After checking with Sparx is seems I was toofast on the trigger. It all seems to work fine. the problem (which I yet to figure out) is problably with the spsific DB\table I was working on.
