Alternate Images get lost during export ->impor

Hi everyone,

I am trying to export packages from one model to import it to another model, which basically works fine.

My problem is that alternate images which are set for some objects don't appear after the import to another model.

I already tried to import a file which holds all the Model Images.
The only result is that I can see my custom images in the Image Manager but not in my diagrams.

While looking for a solution I stumbled upon a screenshot out of EA 7.0 which provides a checkbox "Export Alternate Images" in the "Export Package to XMI" dialog.

This seems to be what I'm looking for,
but unfortunately in my company EA 6.5 is used
and in EA 6.5 this checkbox isn't available.

I'm wondering if there is a workaround for my problem if it's just not possible to export these images with Version 6.5
