Making an element positioned 'vertically'...?
« on: January 25, 2008, 02:03:56 am »
Hello,
in EA 6.5.798, in a copmponent diagram, how can I make a component element positioned vertically, instead of its standard, left-to-right placement? Is this possible?

You mean the lay out of elements (which you do through diagram details) or the actual image of the element (I guess you would need some scripting for this...)?
Recursion definition:
If you don’t understand the definition read "Recursion definition".

I am talking about the actual image (if I got you right), that is - making a class element's rectangle go from down up, together with its text label of course...or maybe positioning the text label like so would be enough..

You can't rotate any elements, only labels.

What about creating a stereotype (with shape script or by including an .emf - picture)?

Should work, but AFAIR it does only work for stereotyped elements....
