default size of elements in diagrams
« on: February 01, 2008, 06:03:08 am »
Hello,

is there a way to define the default size of an element e.g. package?

I allways have to reduce the size of the package elements on
the package diagrams, because the are to large and i want to have them a smaller size.

It is even problemeatic when using auto size (alt-z).

Than the element enlarges itself to the (unwanted) larger size. By the way, the package element is just empty and there is nothing to show, so there is no need to enlarge it.

PS: I am talking about 7.0 build 818

Have a look at "Use Element Templates" in the help.  I think this might be what you are looking for.

Hi Michael,

As Graham advised, template packages allow you to create element templates to be used throughout the model. Please refer to the help page http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/EAUserGuide/index.html?using_element_templates.htm for more information.
Best Regards,

Michael
