Trouble doing "Import DB Schema from ODBC
« on: March 06, 2008, 07:16:32 am »
I having issues trying to do a "Import DB Schema from ODBC".  I got EA to the point of connecting to the database but I'm not seeing any of my tables to be able to choose.  If I select everything, though, I see everything (system tables) minus my user tables.  Does anyone know what my issue may be?

PS...I'm connecting to a Oracle 10g database.

Others have had this problem, and posted to the forum. I do not remember what the solution was, but there have been posts that explained how they get past this.

Search the forum for the threads involved. They are there.

[Note that I don't think all of them posted back with the solution, so don't give up too early. Also be prepared to go a long time back.]

HTH, David

PS: If you do find it, please post back here so there will be a recent example. [And to refresh my addled memory.   :-[

Did it work? If so, please post the solution to this thread, or a pointer to where you found the correct information.

Thanks much,
David (at least I think that's the name)
