Saving model
« on: April 01, 2008, 02:06:12 am »
After doing some major updates on a model (without saving) I decided to store the updated version as a new copy of the file in order to have both the new and the old version of the model as two different files.
I closed Enterprise Architect (still without saving) and expected to find two different versions of the model on disk in two different files. To my surprise Enterprise Architect had stored my work without me asking for it while I was doing the updates so now both files are stored with the updates and I am faced with restoring one of the files to it's previous glory.

Is there anyway I can turn off automatically saving updates to my model? I want to decide for myself when I want to store my work..

Fast answer is no, you cannot have it streight. All elements are created in the repository and you can only save layouts of your diagrams.

The versioning question is complex, start with baseline topic in help, that would suit to your purposes, I suppose.
