How to add optional XSLT stylesheet for XMI export
« on: April 09, 2008, 07:38:35 pm »
XMI export dialog has a StyleSheet combo box that allows "XMI file to be post processed".
This combo-box is currently empty on my EA7.

How can I  insert my own XSL file into this list ?

Interesting question. This seems to have evolved a bit since I last tried it (in the pre EA 7.0 days).

Here's a guess that might get you unstuck.

Try putting your style sheet (XSL or CSS) in the same directory as your output file, or in the default XML directory defined in the Tools | Options | XML Specifications dialog. See if that causes the drop-down to be populated.

Please let us know.

Thanks for your answer, but it didn't work for me. :'(

Could it  be an EA "dead feature" ???

I certainly hope not Stephane!

My suggestion is that if you don't see an answer here that works by tomorrow (depending on where in the world you are) then fire off a support request to Sparx. Perhaps even now, come to think of it, since they are in Australia and as I write this it is during their office hours.

You'll find the correct link to mail the request by clicking the Support link at the top or bottom of any forum page. The mailto: link you want is near the top of the page and quite visible.

Please post back and let us know what's going on.
