XML Markup languages - e.g. Flex
« on: April 19, 2008, 09:04:52 am »
Hello,

meanwhile there are many XML markup languages such as MXML, XUL, ZUL, XAML and many more.  These languages allow to define classes, methods and many things that you usually do in C, Java, VB, Python or other OO languages. The nice thing is, that each of these languages has a XSD schema describing the language syntax. So IMHO it should be possible to create an import/export module for EA.

Does Sparxsystems plan to support these XML languages in future ?

Best wishes
Bernd

I wouldn't rule out the possibility, but I'm not aware of any plans at the moment.

The best way to encourage Sparx Systems to add support of any language (markup or otherwise) would be to send in a feature request and include any useful information to help us do it. eg. Links to a complete specification and examples.
