Text on a diagram
« on: May 04, 2008, 12:55:35 pm »
What is the best way to create text on a diagram ?

Ive been told to use one of the many toolbox objects - such as a dummy entity, but Im not sure which one to select.

I just want text to appear anywhere that I want to place it on the digram - with either a clear or colored background.

Thanks

Use the A icon. That will place free text on the diagram without any frame.

Look up Text | Element, Create in EA help. This will walk you though how to create a note without the border etc.

You can also use a hyperlink, depending on what behavior you are looking for. Internally hyperlinks are based on text elements.
No, you can't have it!
