« on: May 09, 2008, 02:12:23 am »
Hi,

how should i understood the 2 objects : requirement and feature under EA7 ?
for me a customer requirement can generate several features into model.
but how is it understood under EA7 ?
what is the best practice ?

thx.

Hi rafnews,
Enterprise Architect is based on UML 2.1 notation. Definitions of Requirements and Features from UML are directly applied in EA.
Requirements are divided into: Customers Needs, Features, Functional Req, and Non-functional Reqs.
Customers Needs - what client needs from the product
Features - what product offers, corresponding to needs
