IHelp logging in

I have taken over as a BA on a project and wanted to open up the EAP  repository for the Project. When I try it prompts for UserID and Password. I have not seen this before. How do I find out my UserID and if it was in some way locked by my predecessor, is there a way of finding / using their UserID /PAssword and get into the Project?
