When you look at the search results where a Note is found then you discover that it has attributes like Created, Author a.s.o. But you can not open the properties for the note. I think that for a note you should be able to open the same properties pane as for any other element. The name might not make that much sense but what the heck? This might be disabled, though I could think of useful applications where the name for notes is used.

The main menu option: View | Properties - does show the properties for a Note - you can change the name here.

You should have tried it. For notes you just get the notes window. Nothing else.

I believe Dermot is referring to using the docked properties window, not the properties dialog.  Have the properties window visible, select your note on the diagram, and you should now be able to view/edit the properties (including the Name).

You're right, Aaron. Which proofs my EAUI concerns. The docked window shows all properties but the menu/context modal window does not.

At least it is possible to access all the info I did not find in the first attempt. EAUI confirmed, though.
