Anyone know if there is a maximum size for an eap file?
Best regards!

Whatever the maximum size for an MS Access database is. I don't think there is a difference between Access 97 and 2000, but if there is it corresponds to the EA Tools | Options setting for Jet 4.0 (checking this setting is equivalent to Access 2000).

I suspect the limit is 2 GB, but you should look it up to be sure.

No, you can't have it!

Simply install MySQL and use the Migration Wizard to import the EAP fiole into MySQL database and off you go up to the size of your harddrive :-)

Best wishes

As long as you have the corporate edition of EA.  The professional and desktop editions do not support DBMS connections.

And, if you are using an eap file that is close to the limits, try running Tools | Manage .EAP File | Compact .EAP File.  That can have a huge effect if you haven't done it in a while.
