Can I work with 2 projects?
« on: June 03, 2008, 02:12:13 am »
hello
I need some help for the following problem.
I have created a project and worked with requirement diagram and use case diagram. and my colleague worked with Class diagram in a different project. Now can I merge these 2 projects into a single project? or in other words can I import other project?
Is there any help?

cheers

You can export projects to XMI files per package and reimport them to the other model.
Be aware that elements which are redundant will be duplicated- if the same actor/class/requirement is present in both models it will lead to two different elements and the links will only be the subset of the original project.
The remaing effort is a manual process to sort such things out.
