Include relationship matrix in HTML report
« on: June 25, 2008, 09:38:43 pm »
Hi,
I can't figure out how to include relationship matrix in HTML report. Is this possible ? Hopefully so because we are planning to use HTML reports extensively to publicise our models and we use relationship matrices a lot. If they are not visible in HTML reports it looks like we can't use HTML reports.
Thanks
    James

Hi again,
I would also love to be able to do equivalent to Diagram > Copy Image for relationship matrices.
Any ideas,
Thanks

Sorry James,

Simply put, no you cannot. This seems to hold true for any report, HTML or RTF. The feature has been requested several times, going as far back as 2001. [At least in my experience, perhaps farther.]

There's an interesting suggestion (which I've not tried) at: http://www.sparxsystems.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1098889096/1#1

Perhaps you'd take up the cause and make a feature request directly to Sparx. You'll find the appropriate form by following the Feature Request link below the Support link near the bottom of any forum page. If you get a response from Sparx please also post back to this thread to enlighten the rest of us.

David

Thanks David,

I'll submit the feature request and keep the forum updated.
