Hi,
I am trying to link a feature of a project to an requirement in another project. Is it possible to link elements between projects?

In principle... yes. If you use controlled packages.

You might be intrested in this topic ;)

Hi,
Okay let me rephrase the question. I am working on project which is divided into various sub project. My team is capturing requirements for each sub project. Some of the requirements are common for all the projects hence the needed for linking them to other sub projects. I wanted to possible can the elements be linked to another porject (like hyperlink) without using import/export. [smiley=evil.gif]

define project/subproject...

Do you refer them to as seperate eap-files? Then no, you can not 'hyperlink' objects between. Why? Because your eap-files are nothing else but access db's.
As I pointed out before: you need to control single packages.

I guess, you have the same concern as I do: You don't want to see stuff in your project for which you don't care but your stuff needs to be linked to such stuff ::)

Unfortunately, this is rather tricky...
That's why I think you might be interested in this topic (note, that the word 'this' in my last post is a hyperlink  ;D)

Yes by projects I meant different eap files. I have suggested my team to create just one project  [eap file] so my work can be linked to theirs.

thanks
