Usecases - from notebook to EA
« on: July 09, 2008, 09:15:43 am »
Hi every one,

I have just started using EA, and I need a little help.

I have prepared a use case on paper, and now I'm ready to take it to the next level: the EA tool. But I don't know where I should put all the use case text in the diagrams.

I also would like to know, how to relate a requirement to a use case. And how to diagram a use case that in some point has three possible ways to go in the EA tool.

Thanks in advance

Dermot

Hi iapazmino,

My advise is to try out some video demonstrations first, to make work with EA more clear:

Use Case:
http://www.sparxsystems.com/resources/demos/basicusecase/TO_20070418%20Basic%20Use%20Case.htm

Something about Requirements:
http://www.sparxsystems.com/resources/demos/eaoverview/index.html

Of course then you should read some tutorials as Dermot suggested.
