Relationship Matrix option is greyed out
« on: July 11, 2008, 10:01:43 pm »
Until a few days ago I could view my relationship matrix. Now when I select the diagram(s), no matter what the View | Relationship Matrix menu item is grayed out and thus inoperable.

How can I get it back? I need to make "realize" relationships between Use Cases and "Packages"

Hi Emilio,

I can find the View/Relationship Matrix grayed out only when I have Matrix already opened...But I guess that is not the issue.

Somehow it came back after restarting.

There is a persistent problem though, while the profiles are very handy they are NEVER saved with the package in version control.

I created these profiles on my local model (which is under version control), then checked-in the whole model and got the latest of the same model on the laptop. When I go the the laptop to view a Relationship Matrix the "Profiles" menu is empty.

This happens even when you choose to use *.EAB in version control or a regular model with independent packages.

I fired in a feature request (and/or bug request) for this issue but I have not seen any response on it. This makes it a bit unhandy because then when you provide the model for those who can view it (for example with the EA Viewer), then they can't get these handy RM Profile shortcuts and have to be instructed on how to make them.
