working with the shared model

Hello everybody,

I´m working with 10 users on the shared model. We are using MySQL as DBMS Server and MKS Integrity as Version Control Server. Our problem at the moment is that one user works on a branched version of the model. When he checks it out to modify, every user will prompted with the same model version. I think it is because of XMI content will be synchronized with the database.

Does anybody know how to supress that? I mean it will be better for our process that once the database will be initalized with the main model and after that any changes will managed be MKS through the XMI Import/Export.

Does anybody has a solution for my problem?
