User Security

Hi,

'Manage Users', etc. are disabled in my EA! I can only enable security and nothing else!
Could anyone tell me where the problem is?
I have EA Corporate Edition version 7.0.813 installed on my PC

Once you enable the security, you will have all the other options available.

You will need a key to enable security.

I enable the security and enter the key but again,everything is disabled :-?

OK, you have to access as admin. Go to "Security | Login as another user" and enter user: admin and password: password.

Then, all options will be enabled...

Actually the "Security | Login as another user"  is also disabled :-/ both before and after enabling security

Mmmm... are you sure the key introduced is valid? EA no alerts if the key is invalid with any message... I presume Sparx change it recently...

Go to the "Registered Users" section of this page (http://www.sparxsystems.com/registered/reg_ea_down.html) and take the security key exposed there.

Luis is right. If yout take this code it works. Just tried.

I'm going to help->license Management and copy the registered key and paste it there and nothing is resolved  
By the way, my company has purchased EA from another office (not directly from the sparx system); and that link asks me for user name and password I don't know mine!

The key you entered (EA license) is not the "security" key. It's not the same.

It's impossible to me to give you the security key.

Try to ask for it directly to Sparx (http://[email protected]) identifying you licence, or request your registered username & password to access to the Registered Users section, where the key is available.
