Working with XMI 2.1 using MKS in shared model
« on: July 16, 2008, 09:59:49 pm »
Hello Everybody,

I´m working with a few users on a shared model. As version control system I would like to use MKS Integrity. There are no problems to configure the settings for the version control. So I have a connection to MKS. When I open the package control-> configure mode I choose the configured connection to MKS. But I can´t choose the XMI/UML Type. It is set to XMI 1.3 by default and I want to use XMI 2.1. Does anybody has a solution for that problem? Does it depend on the version control provider MKS?

Thank for your help

Don't think so...

But I believe that VC relies on XMI 1.3. Can anyone confirm this?
No, you can't have it!

Yes, EA only works with XMI 1.3 for version control.

Hello Simon,

do you can tell me when XMI 2.1 will be usable at version control?

Thanks a lot

There currently isn't any plans, or need from Sparx Systems perspective to support version control for XMI 2.1.
