Data Mapping and LDAP
« on: September 10, 2008, 03:53:26 am »
What is the best way to model ldap schema's in EA?  Additionally, the best way to show data maps?  For instance, I have an element in one system, but should show as something else in another.  Matrix?

Perhaps.

You could create (a lot of) «trace» relations I suppose, but these are difficult to draw between columns on a data model (or any UML class model) in EA. You would have to use something like composite structure diagrams.

I believe you could use the relationship matrix to do a lot of this. [I think it handles these relationships, and Sparx has been expanding the range of links that the Matrix View works with.]
