Using Subversion branches with EA
« on: September 12, 2008, 05:40:05 am »
I have been successfully using EA with subversion for a while. I have recently started using subversion branches and then I don't know how to proceed with EA. I created two different EAP files, one for when I wanted to work on the trunk and one to work on the branch. I was surprised when I opened my trunk EAP file to see that the uniqueIDs on the Version Control Settings were automatically changed to the branch directory location.

I don't know what is the best way to proceed. Please advise.

Thanks,

Hi Howard,

Sorry for the delayed response. I have tried the solution that you have posted before, but it didn't work for me. I have several nestings of version control packages and I believe that the solution only works for a single level of version control package; is that correct?

Thanks,
Claudia
