Partial Classes in c#
« on: October 04, 2008, 09:03:39 am »
Does anyone have any experience with generating a model from c# code that contains partial classes? One of the assemblies I am trying to model contains them and they do not behave nicely in the model.
Specifically a spearate uml class is generated for each partial class when they are all really the same class. Is the an option somewhere that will allow me to model this correctly?

If you mean, can you model partial classes as a single element, then no, I don't think so.

There was quite a bit of discussion on this in the forum, including participation from some of the Sparxians, within the past few months. You might want to take the time to search for and read through those threads.
No, you can't have it!
