Designing Information needed

Hi All,

I have been assigned a task where i have a set of classes which has repeated functionalities. Now i need to write a base reusable class which will be extended by other classes. But for time being am not supposed to code but do the design of this or i can say i need draw diagrams (But dont which diagram suits this req). I am in lack of the approach which i need to follow. please suggest me the best approaches which i can do with EA and remaining i can handle. Am leaving for the day now and hoping few replies from fundu guys:) Thanks in advance
