Options for master doc propagated to model doc
« on: October 21, 2008, 11:55:55 pm »
We are using master document containing model document in order to generate complex RTF Report.

It seems that the advanced options and codepage defined when we generate the master document are not applied to the model documents.

As example, we are specifiying "Hide anonymous elements" and specific codepage references in the RTF doc generation dialog for master doc generation. When we view the result, we retrieve anonymous elements in the model doc and the codepage is wrong.

Thanks in advance

I suspect (without any investigation) that EA would be using the options applied to each template being used for model documents.

I am not sure about the Codepage, but the [] Hide anonymous Elements  - option does need to be set for the Model Document (in the RTF editor: File | Document Options), not just the Master Document.

Thanks a lot for you replies :

  • hide anonymous has to be specified in the template itself
  • codepage is also applied for the model documents of the master document
