Math Expressions in EA
« on: January 16, 2009, 01:36:39 am »
Hello,

I am looking for a way to model mathematical expressions in EA. I need them to represent the idea of algorithms to calculate some values needed in my software. What's more I would like to generate documentation out of this, so I will be needing a RTF template to do that. I would highly appreciate any help.

This looked to be a challenging question so I did a quick search myself and google came up with this: http://www.webel.com.au/node/932 which looks as it might give first ideas without the need for a PhD in mathematics :)

The idea which came to my mind this morning was to use stereotyped activities for atomar operations (multplications, summations, differential equations, etc.) which can be reused to model complex activities.
You would have to break down your formulars into those atoms so a formular is then a complex model of those typed elements.
