Behaviour of interfaces in Component diagrams
« on: January 24, 2009, 05:41:14 am »
How can I describe the behaviour of the interface in the component diagram. Somehow I want to describe the timing behaviour of the links.

Tank you in advance

I'm not sure I understand your question.  In my world, interfaces do not exhibit behaviors;  that is, operations provided by the interfaced component may be declared, but not defined.  Interfaces do have protocols that are best described with Protocol Use Cases or, perhaps, State diagrams that my employ timing glyphs.

Verbal Use Cases aren't worth the paper they are written upon.
