Data Types: Common Type?

Is the Common Type field in the "Programming Languages Datatypes" dialog (Settings...Code Datatypes...) based on a standard set of common types?  If so, where can one find a list of the such common types?

Hmm...  I think the answer is no.  We define common types to support transformations between languages (http://www.sparxsystems.com/resources/mda/converting_types.html).  So the common types are up to us.
