hi
Ihave just installed a demo version of EA,in interrested in the party:requirements management ,i woold like to have a little project that shows me how to use EA for managing the requirements oh my project.

I created a database using postgres,i have troubes in connecting to this database from EA;

Did you take a look at the RE whitepaper from Sparx?

As to your database problem it is hard to give advice without further details. It is always advisable to consult the online help for assistance to such problems.

Note: All of this is mentioned / explained in the white paper Oliver mentioned...

A common problem is that AFTER you create a DB, and after you have ran the SQL script to create the models tables, you forget that there is NOT data in the tables.

You MUST (using EA) transfer an .eap project (i.e., your or Sparx's EABase.eap file located in the install directory... c:/program files/sparx systems/EA) to the DB so the tables are populated with data.

THEN you should be able to open your EA project (on your RDBMS) after you create your data source...
