Look at this Help topic:
http://www.sparxsystems.com/uml_tool_guide/enterprise_architect_reports/selectingmodelelementsford.htmlYou might want to check the other topics around this one, all of which deal with setting up an RTF Template from which to generate reports.
Let's assume you have created a linked document for the Requirements element, and this linked document contains the tables and pictures you want.
Open the
RTF Style Template Editor. In the left-hand panel, called
Sections, expand the
Package | Element portion of the hierarchy (and select the check boxes against
Package and
Element too).
Look down the list of items under
Element. Probably towards the end of the list, you should see the item
Model Document. Select the check box against it.
Now consider where in the
Element section in your report you want the pictures and/or tables from your linked document to display. Let's say just after
Scenario. Click on the
Model Document item in the list and then click on the 'up hand' icon at the top of the
Sections panel. Keep clicking on this icon until
Model Document sits just after
Scenario.
Look at the
Content panel to the right of the
Sections panel. You should see listed in the text a number of tags in bold, highlighted in yellow. One pair of tags is Scenario> < Scenario, and immediately after that is the pair of tags model document> model document>.
In the
Sections panel, deselect the
Model Document checkbox. The model document > tags disappear from the
Content panel. Select the
Model Document checkbox again - the model document >tags reappear.
When you generate your RTF report using this template, the contents of the linked document are included in the report between the two model document > tags.
I hope this helps.
Please note, you don't need to post your query in three different places. Most people check the whole forum, and - as you found with Dorian - someone will respond promptly.
