i was just wondering why i must uninstall my licensed  corporate version just to install the 7.5 beta 1

Theoretically yes...

But you can probably - I have done this with no apparent problem (yet) but it is not supported by Sparx - just copy (not move) the entire EA installation directory to a new location. Then install 7.5. Once you've done that you can create a 'custom' icon to start your 7.1 instance.

Note that both instances will share the same registry tree, but they seem to cooperate pretty well.
