'Permanently' change an Element's Appearance
« on: February 28, 2009, 05:37:37 am »
Can someone please remind me how to change an element's Appearance so that it changes in all Diagrams, and also is retained when adding the element to new diagrams?

Specifically, I am adding a custom jpeg to an Actor.

I've done it before but I can't remember how!

Thanks.

Use the Appearance | Alternate Image context menu option to set the image, then right-click on the element and select the Appearance | Default Appearance context menu option. The Default Appearance dialog displays, on which you setthe font, border, etc. for every instance of that element.

Does that work?
Best Regards, Roy
