Shape Script for Tagged Values
« on: March 27, 2009, 12:54:28 am »
Hi.

I need to show different colors for elements depending on the value of specific Tagged Value.

I have the script, but only for a stereotype, how can i create the script for all the possible elements in my diagrams?

is there anyway to show this behaviour for all the elements in a generic way?

Thanks

Vi

Shape scripts are only applied based on stereotype, so you'll have to stereotype all of your elements.

Maybe i could use the Status Type Color instead of shape scripts.

Thanks!

Remember to turn Shadow on (as well as turning on status colors). This can be done from the Tools | Options dialog, but not in the same place as you turn on status colors. Go to the Diagram | Appearance page and check the Element Shadows On option. For many element types status colors are displayed by coloring the element shadow (not the element itself); if you do not display the shadow the status color will not be visible.
No, you can't have it!
