HTML Report
« on: June 26, 2009, 11:39:57 am »
Hello,

I have two questions.

1. When I create an HTML output from EA, the project browser is also outputted to HTML.  Is there any way to create a HTML output without the project browser?

2. My second question is regarding using connectors in EA.  When I have one connector cross another, is there any way to identify that the connectors are crossing each other?  Ex. In visio they use a bump in the connector as if the connector is jumping over the other.

Thank You.

In answer to those two questions

1. You can create a Web Style template and modify the defaults then use the new template to generate the HTML Report. You can modify the template via the resource window under Resources>Templates>Web Style Templates. Create a new template and then try Editing the "Page - ToC" part of the template.

2. Afraid the answer is no not at present. You could ask Sparxs to add it in the next release though.

Hope that helps

Paul

Your second question was also one of my needs. However I indeed got the answer that this is not supported at this moment. Just lay in a feature request, maybe they'll add it to the next release.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your response.  Would you know what exactly needs to be edited to remove the project browser from my HTML output?  I'm not so great with coding.

Will do about issuing a request for the connector as it appears I'm not the only one that would find this useful.

Cheers,
Shailen
