Visual Studio MDG Integration 3.5 not working

Hi all,

I have problem with Visual Studio MDG Integration 3.5.

I use Visual Studio 2005 Standard Edition and Enterprise Architect 7.1. Now I have installed Visual Studio MDG Integration 3.5 (Trial version) and when I try to Attach UML Model under Visual Studio I not receive 'Connecting...' information under EA Project Explorer window, but this window is empty all the time and the context of this window is refereshing all the time.

This is my problem:


When I try to do the same action under another computer, the Visual Studio MDG Integration 3.5 works correctly.
On Visual Studio installation where Visual Studio MDG Integration 3.5 not works I have installed Visual Studio addins like: Visual SVN and Visual Assist X. What can I do to solve this problem?

OK,

I have solved this problem: Visual Studio searched the file 'EAViewer.ocx' in strange folder. I have changed the path of this folder in Win32 register to proper folder and now 'Visual Studio MDG Integration 3.5' works correctly.

How did it get strangely mapped in the first place? Was this done by the VS MDG Integration installation? If so, please file a bug report directly to Sparx. Use the Report a Bug link near the bottom of any forum page.

Hi,

I don't know what is the reason for this strangely mapped. I know, that I installed few version of EA (7.0 trial, 7.1, 7.5 trial) etc., so maybe this situation could lead for this problem.
