One way to tell code gen to use spaces not tabs

Our coding standard requires using spaces in place of tabs, at the rate of two spaces per tab.

Is there a way to universally redefine "\t" to "  " or do I have to go through all the code generation templates and change each \t to two spaces?

You need to go through the templates.
