Differentiate Rqmts from Derived Specifications?

I'm a beginner at using EA Professional, but have figured out how to generate the RTF document outputs and link to an MS Word "master document".

I've been able to create a professional-looking business requirements document, but now need to create a derived technical design specification document based on the business requirements.

How do you filter on the derived specification requirements instead of the parent business requirements?

EA contains an attribute called "RequirementType", but I haven't determined where this can be set.

What do you suggest?
