Modifying code templates for Python doesn't work
« on: August 05, 2009, 01:46:52 pm »
Hi

I have been using EA on and off for quite some time, but need to generate some code (Python specifically) this time.

However when ever I modify any of the code templates the changes appear to be ignored. Just simple things like some additonal static text never get output.  (Its as if the changes to the template where never made)

In addition no attributes are ever generated.

I am probably doing something stupid, but can't for the life of me work it out.

I am using 7.5.846 Corporate Edition (its not a license thing is it ?)

Any hints on diagnosing this would be great.  RTFM's are welcome though I think I have read them all ;-)

Regards

Hmm, it seems that after some random event, manipulating the model for instance, it seems to start generating code with the template additions.
I have tried this so many times and unfortunately determine what triggered the correct generation with the altered templates.

Just a guess...

Perhaps something had to trigger a model reload, which loaded your modified template.
No, you can't have it!
